Known for bringing Christianity to the Irish people, St. Patrick became a legend in Irish culture that explained the Holy Trinity, the idea of 3-in-1. Legend says he did so using the Irish clover, or shamrock, as we know it best. So, who's ready to shamROCK this St. Patrick's Day full of festivities in Frankenmuth?

Go Green To Celebrate In Style

It’s time to go green this St. Patrick’s Day. Recycle your old clothes and shop for new ones. To keep up with the festivities, shop for traditional Irish garb and other Guinness goodies at our local Irish retail store, ‘Funky Skunk.’ Located in River Place, Funky Skunk is known around Frankenmuth for its Irish knits, hats, jewelry, and gifts. It will leave you feeling like you took a quick trip to Ireland.

Bring Along Your Bierpass

Skip on over to the Frankenmuth Visitor Center to pick up your Bavarian Bierpass. What is a Bierpass? It is a passport for a ‘spirit’ filled tasting trip around Michigan’s Little Bavaria. When a qualifying drink purchase is made at one of the participating establishments, your passport will be stamped. Once 15 stamps have been collected, passports can be turned in at the Visitor Center for a limited edition t-shirt. Sip and sample your way through different beers on St.Patrick’s day...

Raise a glass while strolling through town

There is nothing better than taking your drink on the go as you explore downtown Frankenmuth. Take advantage of the Social District which is a permitted area in which alcoholic beverages may be purchased on-site at qualifying bars and restaurants and consumed off-site in the designated commons area, allowing you to shop and stroll main street while taking in your drink of choice!
